Certificate Distribution among the first Batch of CHPE

Certificate distribution ceremony of the first batch of certificate in Health Profession Education and introductory session of the second batch of CHPE was held in the multipurpose hall on 11th June 2019.

CHPE is a six months certificate course duly recognized by PM&DC  offered by KMU .Kmu is one of the very few universities in the country,offering this course. PM&DC has made this certificate mandatory for the Vice chancellors, Deans/Heads of Medical Teaching Institutions and promotion of teaching faculty from 2020 onwards.

Dean IHPE Prof Dr Fozia , Director IHPE,Dr Usman Mehboob, Dr Brekna Jamil,Dr Ahsan Sethi,Dr Sumera and Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Gandapur, Registrar,KMU were present on the Occasion.

Dr Usman Mehboob highlighted the importance of Health Professions Education and its role in the coming years of medical education in Pakistan.

Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem welcomed the new batch and bid farewell to the outgoing batch of CHPE.

In the end the Registrar, Dean, Director  and faculty of IHPE distributed certificates among the passing out doctors of CHPE
