F&PC 20th Meeting

The 20th meeting of Khyber Medical University, Finance & Planning Committee (F&PC) was held under the Chairmanship of Vice Chancellor KMU, Prof. Dr. Arshad Javaid on 28th March 2018 at the committee room of VC Secretariat. Mr. Khalid Ahmed Memon, Director Budget/Nominee of DG(Finance), HEC Islamabad, Nominee of Secretary HED, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Kabir Khan Additional Secretary, Nominee of Secretary Finance, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Muhammad Shiraz, Deputy Secretary (AB), Prof. Dr. Jawad, Dean KMU-IBMS, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Gandapur, Registrar KMU, Dr. Muhammmad Hafiz Ilyas, Director KMU-P&D, Prof. Dr. Shajaat Ali Khan, KMU-IMS, Kohat, Dr. Zohaib, Director KMU-ORIC and Mr. Tauqir Ahmad, Wing Commander (R), Treasurer KMU attended the meeting as Secretary F&PC.

The meeting confirmed the minutes of 19th Finance and Planning Committee meeting. Later on the F&PC discussed in detail agenda items pertains to Special Allowance for Ph.D Faculty/Ph.Ds Retention Allowance, Implementation of Special Pay package for KMU Employees, Enhancement in Honorarium & Approval of TA/DA for members of KMU Inspection Committee for Affiliation, Up-gradation of Paramedics Staff along with incumbents working in KMU, Creation of Posts for IPM&R, KMU-INS, KMU-IBMS, KMU-IPMS and KMU-IMS, Kohat.

The F&PC also recommend Establishment of Financial Assistance & Development at KMU, Creation of administrative positions of Additional Registrar, Additional Controller of Examinations, Additional Treasurer and the post of Deputy Director Media & Protocol. The meeting also accord approval to imposition of Fine and Extra semester fee on students of KMU, Enhancement in remuneration of visiting faculty, approval of MOUs of KMU with Akbar care Institute & Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar.
