First ever successful Maxillo-facial surgery in the history of KOHAT by KIDS

With the blessings of almighty Allah, A team of specialist doctors of KMU institute of dental sciences Kohat have done the first ever successful Maxillo-facial surgery in the history of KOHAT. It was Road Traffic Accident case in which Open Reduction and Internal Fixation of Fracture mandible with Mini-plate and 7mm titanium screws without Maxillary Mandibular Fracture was done under General Anesthesia. Surgery took 2 hours and 35 minutes.  Speaking at the juncture Dr. Sabahat Tareen have dedicated this success to the countless efforts of Vice Chancellor KMU Dr. Mohammad Hafizullah that without his help and support it could not be possible in this remote area of KPK. Also he added that KMU-IDS is providing free of cost world best dental Health facilities to the people of KOHAT region.
