Vice Chancellor KMU chairing first meeting of Interim Committee for PNQAHE

Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Khyber Medical University (KMU) launched Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE) in its first International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education held on December 18,19,2017. In this conference an interim committee comprising of Vice Chancellors of KMU, University of Swabi and Bannu University of Science & Technology and Ms. Syeda Asiyah Bukhari, Deputy Director KMU-QEC as Secretary of the Committee was constituted to finalize the voting procedure for Executive Body of the Network.

The first meeting of the said committee was held in the office of Vice Chancellor KMU on February 23, 2018. In the first meeting of the interim committee constitution of the Network was finalized and procedure for voting among members was discussed in detail. Next meeting will be held soon for final voting process of the Executive Committee. It is worth mentioning that this Network will provide forum to all Pakistan QECs of Public and Private sector Universities to share and solve the issues pertains to quality in education at higher level. At the end VC KMU Prof. Dr. Arshad Javaid thanked Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ali, Vice Chancellor University of Swabi and Syed Abid Ali Shah, Vice Chancellor Bannu University of Science & Technology for sparing their precious time and participation in the first meeting to contribute in the best interest of the quality of higher education.
