Turkey Visit of KMU team to sign MOU with Turkish Universities &Hospitals.

A delegation of KMU,led by the vice chancellor Prof Dr Arshad Javaid, with his team members ,Registrar, Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Gandapur ,Dr Asif Ali,Associate Prof IBMS and surgeon Dr Mushtaq Ahmad visited Turkey on the invitation of Pak -Turk Friendship Organization,from 24th April till 27th April,2019.

The delegation explored the chances of Collaboration and partnership with Turkish Universities and Teaching Hospitals ,in the fields of Academics, Research, Faculty / Students Exchange and Human Resource development.

The delegation visited The Medipol University Istanbul and its attached Teaching Hospital, The Uskodar University Istanbul and its attached NP Istanbul Brain Hospital and Memorial group of Hospitals.

The delegation had detailed meetings with the Rectors, Deans, Hospital Directors and other concerned representatives of the afore- mentioned institutions and signed MOUs for collaboration in different fields.

One of the main field,KMU was interested was establishment of state of the art center for Hepatic & Pancreatic diseases, Hepato –biliary,and Liver Transplant Surgery and non communicable diseases.

In this regards KMU signed MOUs with Medipol University Istanbul /Teaching Hospital and Memorial group of Hospitals for the training of Surgeon, Nurses and other Human resource for the Liver Transplant Center and provision of technical help in finalization of this project.
