Biography

Dr. Muhammad Waseem Khan has read Pharm D (2003-08) at the faculty of Pharmacy Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan, undertook Master of Philosophy in Pharmaceutics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Bahawalpur, Punjab. Dr. Khan obtained PhD degree in Pharmaceutics under the supervision of Professor Dr Xiang Guangya from School of Pharmacy, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, Wuhan, China (Fully funded by HEC, Pakistan).
He has previously worked as an academic at the department of Pharmacy, Kohat University of Science and Technology, Kohat and Iqra University, Islamabad Campus.

Research Interests

Dr. Khan is a self-motivated professional with strong passion for pharmaceutical production and innovation in drug delivery systems especially for a Controlled Release and Targeted systems. Having an expertise in the Synthesis and Characterization of Nanoparticles (FTIR, XRD, SEM and DLS), Cells and Molecular Biological Assays (MTT Assay, Apoptosis Assays, Cell Cycle Assays and Western Blot) and tumor models development.
