Research interests and experiences:

 I am working as a pathologist, academician, and researcher and also involved in administration for the last 06 years. After completing my MPhil in histopathology under supervision of Dr. Asif Ali, I did Diploma in Clinical Pathology from Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar. Additionally, completed CAB, CHR and CHPE from Khyber Medical University.

I did my MBBS from Saidu Medical College, Swat. After that, I joined Rehman Medical College as a Lecturer in Pathology Department. There, I was involved in teaching undergraduate and proctorial board of the college. Meanwhile, I worked as a Medical Officer in Pediatric Surgery department at Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. There I was involved in emergency surgeries and burn patient treatment.

After that I joined health department as a medical officer at Govt. Naseer Ullah Khan Babar Memorial Hospital, Peshawar. Initially, I worked as a casualty medical officer and then I was appointed as Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) of the hospital. Meanwhile, I joined Global Fund project as a Consultant Pathologist via Community Health Services project for TB patients. 

I joined Khyber Medical University as a Lecturer in Histopathology department. After 04 years, I was appointed as Assistant Professor of Histopathology, Institute of Pathology & Diagnostic Medicine. Beside this, I joined AIMS Diabetes Hospital & Research Center as a Consultant Pathologist and Focal person from KMU for MPhil students Clinical Training Program there. I have completed training of immunofluorescence technique at Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplant.

I have expertise in Immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, basic microbiology, hematology and developing a specialized laboratory. My recent research has been on developing diagnostic biomarkers for kidney diseases as a replacement of performing intervention in patients. 

Beside academics and research, I am involved in several administrative activities like member syndicate and finance & planning committee Khyber Medical University, focal person histopathology KMU, clinical training of MPhil students, member selection committee KMU, member admission committee for MBBS & BDS, member admission committee for MPhil.
