Dr. Abdul Jalil Khan
MBBS, MRCGP, CCT, FRCGP, DDMPC, MScMEd, FHEA, FFPH

Dr Khan is a Consultant Family Physician with extensive experience of working in NHS UK 🇬🇧 He is a fellow of Royal college of GP, Faculty of Public Health, and Higher Education Academy. He has been awarded the NHS Leadership Academy award in Healthcare Leadership & management and ILM award in strategic Leadership. He assisted General Medical Council UK as an associate and was PLAB examiner for 3 years. He has also been a Specialist advisor for care quality commission UK and assisted in quality inspection of primary healthcare.

He is Currently working as Associate Professor, faculty of public health, and head of the family medicine department at Khyber Medical University. He is leading the training of primary care doctors for the WHO bridging programme for family practice and its incorporation into Primary Healthcare.

He is also a medical Educationist and has been involved in developing curriculum for various clinical and non clinical programmes including IPC, Healthcare Quality, Family Medicine,  Diabetes Management,  Palliative Care and Mental Heath courses. 

Dr Khan’s areas of interest are NCDs and Chronic disease management, Medical Education, Leadership in Healthcare Management and assessment of healthcare quality indicators.
