The 16th meeting of KMU HoDs held at KMU

The 16th  meeting of HoDs of various institutes and departments of Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar was held at Committee Room under the chairmanship of vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq.  In addition to the heads of various institutions and departments, Registrar KMU Inam Ullah Khan Wazir, Controller of Examination Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Gandapur, Dean Basic Medical Sciences Prof. Rubina Nazli, Dean Health Profession Education Prof. Dr. Aziz Marjan, Dean Clinical Sciences Prof Dr. Fauzia Gul, Principal KMU-IMS Kohat Prof. Dr. Mussrat Jabeen and Principal KMU-IDS Kohat Dr. Faheem also attended the meeting.

In the meeting, the proceedings of the previous meeting were presented while the implementation of the decisions of the previous meeting was also reviewed. The participants expressed satisfaction that KMU has started working on the E-office system according to modern requirements, it will help in carrying out all official functions and correspondence of the university quickly and efficiently, saving time and money. Deputy Director IT Mohammad Shehzad Khan gave a detailed presentation of the project which included almost all the modules, which was highly appriciated by the participants. the participants also gave various suggestions. Speaking on the occasion, VC KMU Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq highly appreciated the step towards digitization of KMU, he congratulated all the participants and said that with the help of this E-Office system More facilities will be created specially work from home, but it is very important for all employees to be fully aligned with it. He said that the financial and other matters of our university are going well, and he hoped that this initiative will see a clear change in the conduct of all affairs of the university with a single click. Associate Prof Dr. Inayat Shah Director KMU IBMS expressed his views on the future development of the university and formalizing the future strategic planning.

The Incharge of various institutions gave presentations regarding their performance and the problems, which was assured to be resolved on a priority basis by the Vice Chancellor. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq instructed the heads of all institutions to control the expenses keeping in mind the financial problems of the university. He expressed the expectation that this series of achievements will be continued in other fields with the same spirit.
