KMU is taking best efforts to provide quality health education۔ CM KP.
Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Justice (R) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah visited under-constructed KMU Hospital and Research Center managed by Khyber Medical University (KMU) and appreciated the institution's commendable efforts in providing high quality health education. While on this occasion the Chief Minister was accompanied by Health Advisor Professor Dr Riaz Anwar, he reviewed the arrangements for admissions after the successful conduct and result of MDCAT and along with this he distributed laptops to the deserving students of the KMU.
Chief Minister Justice (R) Arshad Hussain Shah specifically commended KMU for its unwavering dedication to providing top-notch health education to students. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq provided a detailed briefing to the Chief Minister, elucidating the diverse range of programs offered by KMU. These encompass MBBS, BDS, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy. The Chief Minister was also updated on the ongoing public health initiatives and health research initiatives thriving on the KMU campus, also informed the CM on admissions to postgraduate degree programs in epidemiology and basic medical sciences.
Acknowledging and praising the services of Khyber Medical University, the Chief Minister recognized its pivotal role in empowering the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He affirmed a commitment to strengthen KMU and assured the continued support of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
During the visit, the Chief Minister not only distributed laptops to deserving students and also visited the under-construction KMU Hospital and Research Centre. Additionally, they participated in a symbolic act by planting a sapling in the KMU lawn highlighting the importance of environmental awareness. This multi-faceted engagement signifies the commitment of the caretaker Chief Minister towards inclusive development during his visit to Khyber Medical University.
