Governor KP announces KMU Campus in DI.Khan

Governor Ghulam Ali directed the VC KMU and Commissioner DI.Khan to resolve the issues  within couple of months and start the campus.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali announced establishment of  Khyber Medical University Campus in Dera Ismail Khan. He directed the Vice Chancellor KMU Prof Dr. Zia ul Haq and Commissioner DI Khan to resolve the issues related to the establishment of the campus within couple of months and start the campus in a government  building  to be provided the commissioner on temporary basis.

The governor has said that the establishment of KMU campus in DI Khan is a dire need of this area. DI Khan is a remote and backward district, all medical facilities should be available to the people here on their doorsteps.

He expressed these views while addressing the fifth convocation ceremony of Gomal Medical College DI Khan as a Chief Guest. Apart from the Governor, VC KMU Prof Dr. Zia ul Haq, Principal Gomal Medical College DI Khan, Commissioner DI Khan, Registrar KMU Inam ullah Khan Wazir, faculties and large number of students participated in the ceremony. The participants welcomed the initiative of the Governor KP and KMU.
