Today "World Thalassaemia Day" was celebrated at Khyber Medical University the members of 'The Blood Heroes team KMU'

Today "World Thalassaemia Day" was celebrated at Khyber Medical University the members of ‘The Blood Heroes team KMU’ , under the supervision of Institute Ambassador Marifat Khan.

The activities of the day included:

• An Awareness Walk with Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Zia Ul Haq, Registrar Inam Ullah Wazir accompanied by the Directors of different departments.
• An Awareness seminar in which Mr. Asif Zeb educated the audience about Thalassemia and its prevention. Institute Ambassador Marifat Khan and Awareness Head Muhammad Furqan also shared their views about Thalassemia and asked the audience to contribute to the community with blood donation.
• The awareness session was concluded with the cake cutting ceremony.
• The TBH team met Thalassemia patients and clicked a group photo with Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Zia Ul Haq.
