We are delighted to announce the successful thesis defense of Dr Noman Ullah Wazir who has demonstrated exceptional research acumen and scholarly rigor in their thesis, “Role of Pirfenidone in Rodent Compression Model of Spinal Cord Injury”


Dr Noman Ullah Wazir was supervised by Dr Zilli Huma (PHD), Associate Professor, Department of Anatomy, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Khyber Medical University, Peshawar.

 After months of dedicated research, rigorous analysis, and comprehensive evaluation of their chosen topic, Dr Noman Ullah Wazir presented their findings and defended their thesis in close as well as open defense before a panel of esteemed experts, Dr Samreen Memon (PhD) and Dr Najma Baseer (PhD). The defense was marked by insightful discussions, critical evaluations, and intellectual exchange, showcasing the depth of knowledge and passion for their subject.

He was then conferred the Doctoral title by Vice chancellor Prof. Dr Zia Ul Haq in the presence of Dean IBMS Dr Rubina Nazli and Director IBMS Dr Inayat Shah.
